Micromax Canvas Infiinity launched at Rs 9,999

Domestic smartphone maker Micromax has expanded its product portfolio with the launch of Canvas infinity smartphone . The USP of the device is its infinity display with 18:9 screen ratio, which was seen in Samsung Galaxy S8 and LG G6.

The Micromax Canvas Infinity comes with a price tag of Rs 9,999. The smartphone will be exclusively available on Amazon and the registrations will begin today. However, the smartphone will go on sale starting September 1. The comoany also announced that the device will also be available offline agter sometime. The company will also be offering 24 hours of after sales service for the Canvas Infinity. Talking about the large displaym the device will face competition from Xiaomi Redmi Mi Max 2 which comes with a price tag of Rs 16,999.


The Micromax Canvas Infinity features a 5.7 inch HD display with 720*1280 pixel resolution and 18:9 screen ratio. The display is covered with a coating of Corning Gorilla Glass to make it scratch resistant. The smartphone runs Android 7.1 Nougat operating system and the company also announced that the device will also receive Android O  update.

The Micromax Canvas Infinity is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor paired with 3GB of RAM . The smartphone sports a 13 MP rer camera with F/2.0 aperture, 5P lens, super pixel technology and LED flash. Ther's also a 16MP selfie camera with F/2.0 aperture and real time bokeh selfie. Along with this, the front camera also has a smile shot mode.

The smartphone comes equipped with a fingerprint sensor and is backed by 2,900 mAh battery.In terms of connectivity the device offers 4G .VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth ,GPS and USB  OTG.
